Driver Development Programme

The Buckmore Park Driver Development Programme is an intensive, week-long academy designed for 16 individuals looking to pursue a career in motorsport.

This pioneering initiative is more than just an opportunity to drive; it’s a comprehensive development journey that combines on-track experience with off-track education.

Expert Led

The Driver Development Programme features an exceptional lineup of motorsport experts, each a leader in their field, dedicated to guiding you on your journey to success. These experts include people like Jenson Button's and Rubens Barrichello’s former performance coach, as well as learning from Lando Norris’ former head of communications. These industry specialists are here to impart their knowledge, share their experiences, and help you develop the skills necessary to excel both on and off the track.

Programme Content

From on track coaching to detailed classroom training, our meticulously crafted itinerary ensures every participant gains essential skills, both on and off the track. Here's a day-by-day breakdown of what to expect in this intensive and exhilarating journey.

Monday 3rd August - Friday 7th August 2026
Each day runs from 10am to 4:30pm

Day 1: Telemetry & Set Up

After a track walk and introduction drivers will be put through their paces. After lunch provided in our clubhouse, the afternoon will consist of understanding kart dynamics and mechanical set up.

Pricing & Eligibility

The full programme cost is £1950 (inc VAT)

Price includes:
- Minimum of 1 hour circuit/sim time each day
- Expert tuition
- Lunch and refreshments
- Development Programme Team Kit
- Attendance for 1x parent/guardian
- Limited to 16 drivers
- Motorsport networking opportunity

Participants must be a minimum of 12 years of age on the first day of the selected course.

Participants must be 157cm or taller.

Scholarship
In partnership with Rochester Motor Club we are offering a fully funded scholarship place available to low income households.
